Juicy and Flavorful Turkey Burger Recipes for Any Occasion

A healthier twist on the traditional burger, this turkey version is flavorful, juicy, and perfect for weeknight dinners or summer BBQs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey (93% lean recommended)

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for grilling or pan-frying)

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, gently mix ground turkey, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Avoid overmixing.

  • Divide the mixture and form into 4 even patties.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat or preheat your grill.

  • Cook patties for 5–6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

  • Remove from heat and let rest for 2–3 minutes before serving.

  • Serve on your choice of bun with toppings such as avocado, arugula, or aioli.

Notes

  • For added juiciness, mix in a tablespoon of Greek yogurt or grated zucchini.

  • Use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness without drying out the patties.

  • Great for freezing—shape patties, freeze on a tray, then store in freezer-safe bags.
