A healthier twist on the traditional burger, this turkey version is flavorful, juicy, and perfect for weeknight dinners or summer BBQs.
1 lb ground turkey (93% lean recommended)
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil (for grilling or pan-frying)
In a large bowl, gently mix ground turkey, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Avoid overmixing.
Divide the mixture and form into 4 even patties.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat or preheat your grill.
Cook patties for 5–6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Remove from heat and let rest for 2–3 minutes before serving.
Serve on your choice of bun with toppings such as avocado, arugula, or aioli.
For added juiciness, mix in a tablespoon of Greek yogurt or grated zucchini.
Use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness without drying out the patties.
Great for freezing—shape patties, freeze on a tray, then store in freezer-safe bags.
