Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb fresh salmon, skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes

  • ½ cup cornstarch or arrowroot powder

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 2 tbsp neutral oil (vegetable or avocado oil)

For the Bang Bang Sauce:

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise

  • 23 tbsp sweet chili sauce

  • 12 tbsp Sriracha (adjust to taste)

  • 1 tsp honey or agave syrup (optional)

  • 1 tsp white vinegar or lime juice

For Garnish:

  • Sliced scallions

  • Sesame seeds

  • Lime wedges

  • Fresh cilantro (optional)

Instructions

  • Pat the salmon cubes dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.

  • Dredge the salmon in cornstarch, shaking off any excess.

  • In a small bowl, whisk together all the sauce ingredients until smooth. Adjust the heat and sweetness as desired.

  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add salmon cubes in a single layer and cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.

  • Transfer the salmon to a bowl and pour the sauce over. Gently toss to coat.

  • Garnish with scallions, sesame seeds, and cilantro. Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

  • For a healthier version, bake or air-fry the salmon.

  • Use light mayo or Greek yogurt to lighten the sauce.

  • Reduce Sriracha for a milder flavor.

  • Pairs well with rice, salad, or steamed vegetables.
