  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

  • 1/4 cup chicken broth

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the chicken:
Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6–7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

  • Make the creamy feta sauce:
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in the chicken broth, heavy cream, and crumbled feta cheese. Mix well and bring to a simmer. Allow the sauce to cook for about 5–7 minutes until it thickens slightly. Stir in the dried oregano, thyme, and lemon juice. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.

  • Combine chicken and sauce:
Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet. Spoon the creamy feta sauce over the chicken, ensuring it’s well-coated. Let the chicken simmer in the sauce for another 3–5 minutes to absorb the flavors.

  • Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve the creamy feta chicken hot with your favorite side dish.
