A quick and comforting dish that combines all the flavors of pizza with the ease of a one-dish casserole. Perfect for busy weeknights or casual gatherings, this cheesy, bubbly bake will quickly become a family favorite.
1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (e.g., Pillsbury Grands), cut into quarters
1 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup sliced pepperoni (or mini pepperoni)
½ cup cooked and crumbled Italian sausage (optional)
½ cup chopped green bell pepper (optional)
½ cup sliced black olives (optional)
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Nonstick cooking spray
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
Cut biscuit dough into quarters and spread evenly in the prepared baking dish.
Pour pizza sauce over the biscuit pieces and gently toss to coat.
Layer on your toppings—sausage, pepperoni, peppers, olives, or your favorites.
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
Add Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes if using.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Don’t overload with toppings to ensure the biscuits bake through.
Precook meats and drain any moisture-heavy toppings.
For a vegetarian version, skip the meats and add more veggies.
Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
